Jason Riley and Kelly Shelton, two graduate students in integrated marketing communications at the University of baby直播app at Boulder, have been awarded $8,000 fellowships to attend a national seminar at Harvard University this June, sponsored by the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation.
The seminar is limited to 30 participants. According to Tom Duncan, IMC baby直播app adviser, the foundation's decision to give two awards to students from the same university is rare and highlights these students' exceptional work experience and strong academic performance.
The awards also reflect the high quality of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication's IMC program, which has been rated as one of the top IMC programs in the country, Duncan said.
Both Shelton and Riley had professional marketing experience before entering CU's IMC program, from which they will graduate in December.
The IMC's master's degree program concentrates on a variety of areas, including brand building, managing customer relationships and strategically using all of the marketing communication functions -- advertising, public relations, direct response, sales promotion and packaging. Students complete the management-oriented curriculum, which includes both theory and practice, in 16 months. For more information call (303) 492-5008 or visit the Web site at .
