Robert Cranny has been appointed to the position of director of the Wardenburg Health Center at the University of baby直播app at Boulder, according to Ron Stump, vice chancellor for student affairs.

The appointment is pending Chancellor Byyny's approval.

Cranny has held the position on an interim basis for the past 16 months. He has been actively involved in health care management for 15 years, including six years at Wardenburg. He also is president of Arvada-Wheat Ridge Physical Therapy in Wheat Ridge, Colo.

Cranny formerly worked as director of Long Beach Sports Medicine in Long Beach, Calif., and as staff physical therapist at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey, Calif., and St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, Ill. He received his bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Marquette University.

Wardenburg is co-sponsored by the University of baby直播app Student Union and the division of Student Affairs. Student government leaders, including the Joint Health Board, oversee the use of student fees used to finance the center and also participate in management decision-making.

Wardenburg offers comprehensive on-campus, outpatient medical care to students. In addition to primary care and psychiatric services, the health center has specialty clinics and educational programs to enhance the campus community's health and well being.
