Branch Out: Kirtan Meditation Class.ÌýJoin the Bhakti Yoga Club for a free evening of guided Indian meditation and music, whether you’re a meditative master or a total beginner to the ways of Kirtan. The event happens from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Dennis Small Cultural Center (UMC 457) and mats will be provided. Be sure to catch this stress reducing opportunity to relax. .

Boulder Freeride Rail Jam and Membership Fair.ÌýIf you’re one of CU Boulder’s manyÌýski and snowboard enthusiasts, then you may consider joining Boulder Freeride, a group of like-minded snow athletes who go on ski trips and hook you up with discounted tickets. The Rail Jam and Membership Fair goes from 3 to 6 this afternoon in the UMC Fountain Area, and you may see some impressive tricks if you time it right. .

Buffalo Nites: Cupcakes and Canvas.ÌýBuffalo Nites presents you with a free and fun evening of painting and cupcake eating from 7 to 9 in the UMC North Dining Room tonight. Bring a friend and relax for awhile and leave with an artistic masterpiece. This is a great place to meet some new friends and unwind after a long week. .

Buffs home opener against Idaho State. Support the Buffs in the first home game of the young football season when they take on the Idaho State Bengals at 3:30 p.m. at Folsom. Fresh off their victory over babyÖ±²¥app State University, help cheer the Buffs on to another win.

Eco Engage: Local Food on the Front Range.ÌýIf you’re interested in the local sustainable food scene both at CU and in surrounding Boulder, then you may consider a tour of our sustainable systems and farms and markets! The environmental club will take you all around campus and town today from 9:45 am to 4pm to learn more about growing food sustainably and locally. Transportation is provided, but you must register online beforehand. .

Climb the third Flatiron.ÌýOne of the oldest CU traditions is to climb a flatiron while you’re in residence here in Boulder, and lucky for you, The Rec is hosting a climb of the third today from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s a beautiful and easy climb, and you need only some basic belaying and rappelling skills. Equipment is supplied by The Rec, you just have to register online before hand. Hurry along, because space is limited. .

Buffalo Bicycle Classic and Buffalo Run.ÌýChoose from a variety of distances to either run or bike this Sunday in the annual Buffalo Classic to raise money for scholarships for students in the College of Arts and Sciences. This super fun race tradition starts at the Benson Earth Sciences Building and you’ll need to register on the site beforehand. What better way to get into the Boulder flow than to bike your butt off with a friend or two? .

I Love Mondays.ÌýMondays are such a drag right? Not anymore, people, now that you all know about I Love Mondays, the fun weekly event taking place in the UMC North Dining Room from 2 to 3.
