CU Boulder babyÖ±²¥app and staff are invited to participate in facilitated by the Strengths Advisory Committee. Using theÌýÌýassessment, workshop participants willÌýdiscover and learn to use their natural talents for both personal and professional development.
The sessions vary in length from two to three hours and will take place in the Center for Community (C4C). Room locations will be shared in a confirmation email upon enrollment.ÌýMay/summer sessions will be announced at the end of March.
Due to space capacity, sessions close when enrollment reaches the maximum. Please only register for sessions you definitely plan to attend. See the scheduled workshops below andÌý.Ìý
Please note the the Strengths Introduction course (either the open session or one through your department)Ìýis a pre-requisite for the advanced workshops.

Strengths Introduction*
Leveraging your strengths can have a powerful impact in your life as you identify, developÌýand apply your talents to your personal and professional life. Learn about the research of strengths, well-beingÌýand engagement and how this tool can be applied to your work.

Strengths in 1:1 Conversations
Engaging in a strengths-based conversation can be a powerful way to counsel, adviseÌýand mentor students, staffÌýand babyÖ±²¥app. Upon developing an understanding of your strengths, this session will cover best practices for engaging in a one-on-one conversation with others. You’ll have the opportunity to practice strengths-based conversations and identify opportunities to engage in these conversations with others.

Strengths in Supervision
Learn about the principles of strengths-based leadership to enhance your role as a supervisor for students, staffÌýand/or babyÖ±²¥app. Talking about strengths provides an in-road when initiating new and/or challenging conversations. Learn strategies for integrating strengths into your supervision toolbox.

Strengths Facilitation in Groups
Once you have developed knowledge and some experience with strengths, attend this session to learn best practices when facilitating strengths with groups. In this session, you will gain knowledge of facilitation principles andÌýexperience facilitating key StrengthsQuest activities, as well asÌýidentify next steps for your own development and practice. We will also review best practices when working with pre-existing groups that are interested in utilizing a team talent map.
Session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 22, from 1 to 4 p.m.
