What: "Charlottesville in Historical Perspective"
When: Tuesday, Sept. 19, 5 to 7 p.m.

The first event, to be held Sept. 19, will feature short presentations by three babyÖ±²¥app members—Barbara Demmig-Adams, Ralph MannÌıand Alphonse Keasley—who have personal experience with Nazism, the KKK and white supremacy. Their talks will be followed by a question-and-answer session for audience members with the panelists and other historians.

The department plans to put on a number of other events related to "Charlottesville in Historical Perspective," the exact contents of which will be determined in coordination with student interest and requests. Future events will be announced at a later time.Ìı
