Whether you’re a CU Boulder student, staff or babyÖ±²¥app member, here are five reasons to attend the Inclusive Sports Summit.ÌýThe summit will cover social justice, LGBTQ, race and ethnicity, health and wellness, and careers in sports, including a variety of panelists, and will be held Feb. 14–15.

  • To learn and interact, then walk away with opportunities for valuable reflection that will hopefully lead to positive application.
  • To break down barriers that are present within our current society and celebrate best practices within sport that bring individuals and communities together.ÌýÌý
  • To strengthen relationships across communities and provide representation and opportunities to create a more socially sustainable, diverse and inclusive climate.Ìý
  • To provide a forum for the student voice to be heard and acknowledged through individual and shared experiences rooted in sports and recreation.
  • To improve cultural competencies specific to knowledge and skill as it relates to understanding, sharing and engaging diverse perspectives with an emphasis in sport.
