Tuesday, April 10

The spring 2018elections take place this week on. Once you cast your vote as a CU Boulder student, you'll be eligible for various discounts from several off- and on-campus sponsors, including Boss Lady Pizza, Cheba Hut, Cosmos Pizza, Half Fast Subs, The Sink and more. All discounts will be valid during the voting period April 9–12. Voting closes at 8 p.m.April 12.

Conference on World Affairs

Plan to attend one of the more than 200 sessions taking placeon campus through Friday, April 13, during the 70th annual Conference on World Affairs. If you haven't attended, it's definitely worthwhile!Catch the livestreamed sessions online.

Join the Rec Center and Mountain Flower Goat Dairy on Sewall Field for Goat Yoga! Sessions will take place from 11 a.m. tonoon and 12:30 to1:30 p.m. Space for each session will be limited, and a mat will be supplied.

Hasan Minhaj tickets on sale

Hasan Minhaj, comedian, actor, writer and senior correspondent onThe Daily Show, will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19,at Macky Auditorium.Tickets sales will begin at10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10,at the first-floor event table in the UMC. CU Boulder student tickets are $2,cash-only, witha valid Buff OneCard.


Wednesday, April 11

This free workshop is designed to give you the skills to ride your bike with confidence. Theywill cover topics including what to carry, finding the best route and fixing a flat tire. The workshop will take place at at 6 p.m. at the Folsom Bike Station, and there is no need to pre-register.

Bring a laptop and your basic LinkedIn profile. Get advice on what to add, what to delete and how to capture an employer's attention. Join Career Services at noon in C4C N215to learn about keywords, web networking and customizing your URL.

Aly Raisman talk

Aly Raisman,the two-time team captain of the gold-medal winning U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Teams in 2012 and 2016, will sharethe highs and lows of her journey, including her survival of sexual abuse. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the event starts at 7 p.m. in Macky Auditorium.

Recruit a team to enter Picture CU, a photo scavenger hunt using historic images of campus. Bring your camera phones, walking shoesand a group of friends to find the modern-day locations of historic places on campus from 2 to 4 p.m. Top prize for the first team to complete the challenge is a Fuji Instax camera kit. Special prizes will be awarded to the most creative team, best photo alignmentand best hashtag.
