The Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in STEM Education were establishedÌıin 2009 by the Center for STEM Learning to support babyÖ±²¥app and graduate student engagement in innovative research on student learning and implementation of research-based STEM education programs and initiatives.

Two types of awards are available:
- Up to $10,000 babyÖ±²¥app/staff awards
- Part-time graduate awards, 25 percentÌıin matching funds for a graduate research assistant line during the academic year and summer, of up to one year
Applications may propose support for STEM (science, technology, engineeringÌıand mathematics) education projects in the early stages, for the coordination of existing projectsÌıor to seed efforts that can continue beyond the funding period.
