For its inaugural year, this Global Seminar will be kicking off with three weeks this summer in Lima, Peru, to examine how sport shapes culture, identity and society. Lima will host the 2019 Pan-American Games (similar to the Olympics) in 2019, making Peru an exciting place to study the impact of sport on national identity, meet athletes, earn creditÌýand explore South American culture.

Global Seminars are CU babyÖ±²¥app-led programs,Ìýusually 3–6 weeks long in the summer. They provide a high level of structure and support for students. Global Seminars are theme-based and often fulfill specific CU degree requirements.

Ed Abroad Exchange (EAE)Ìýprograms are opportunities where students can directly enroll at a university abroad and take courses with locals. They create a more immersive, independentÌýand affordable experience.

ISA, IES and SIT are study abroad organizations that CU BoulderÌýpartners with, offeringÌýprograms onsite. TheseÌýprograms may run in a variety of different formats.
