Deadlines for students planning to graduate August 2019

June 1: Doctoral and Master’s graduation application deadlineÌý

Doctoral and Master's students mustÌýapply online to graduateÌý³Ù³ó°ù´Ç³Ü²µ³óÌýÌýin order to have the degree awarded in August.ÌýThis is required even though there is no university-wide ceremony.

On the Student tab, select the Apply for Graduation link under "my academics" or "other academic services." PhD students must enter their dissertation title as part of the online graduation application.ÌýThis title will appearÌýon your transcript. You may update the title through your portal until the deadline to cancel/update.ÌýFor other graduation deadlines, please see theÌýGraduate School website.

June 3: Master's candidacy application

Master's students must submit to the Graduate School a Candidacy Application for an Advanced Degree in order to graduate in August.ÌýApplications must be approved by the academic department before submission.ÌýForms and other deadlines can be found on theÌýGraduate SchoolÌý·É±ð²ú²õ¾±³Ù±ð.Ìý

4-day write-in: Establish your summer dissertation writing routine

This four-day catered write-in is for graduate students at any stage of writing their dissertation. Understanding digital research methods

The Center for Research Data and Digital Scholarship (CRDDS), a collaboration between Research Computing and University Libraries and located in Norlin E206, offers a number of workshops and events on topics pertaining to digital research methods and tools for working with data across disciplines.

Check out upcoming workshopsÌýon programming with R andÌýusing Python for statistical analysis, as well as talks by CU researchers on their digital scholarship projects.
