Doreen Jokerst, Chief of Police, CU Boulder Police DepartmentHey, Buffs! On behalf of all of the members of the University of babyÖ±²¥app Boulder Police Department, I want to welcome everyone to campus. Over the summer we started some amazing projects that I'd like to share updates on.

First, you will notice that our officers are now using body-worn cameras. Officers will be recording both audio and visual law enforcement interactions between themselves and citizens.

Second, we are launching a liaison program with the residence halls. Each hall will have an officer assigned to them. So, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to reach out to your officer.

Third, you will see Run, Hide, Fight posters in your classrooms, residence halls and study rooms across campus. These posters are informative and will help us all be intentional about our safety in an active harmer situation. They highlight each step and explain what the phraseÌımeans. Learn more about important .

Finally, we have started to connect to different student groups of students, babyÖ±²¥app, and staff across campus. We are excited to develop these relationships as we move forward.Ìı

I am available to talk with you about any concerns or suggestions you have to help us keep our campus a safe place to live, work, and learn. Please feel free to reach out to me directly. We are excited for a great year. Let’s go, Buffs!
