Overdose Prevention and Response Training

Learn how to recognize and respond to an alcohol, opioid or other drug-related emergency in this free one-hour training. Attendees will learn how to recognize signs of alcohol poisoning and overdose, how and when to use naloxone and strategies to prevent overdose.

Immigration has taken center stage in political discussions both in Europe and in the U.S.This talk will review recent trends in immigration, the underlying factors that drive migratory flows,the babyֱapp and budgetary implications and the policy actions taken by the EU and its member states. It will offer an opportunity to learn from each other’s experience and to create new ideas that can help the EU to design new policies. Registration required.

Navigating difficult conversations can often feel treacherous, especially with loved ones.In this workshop, you will begin to conceptualize conflict as an opportunity for growth by learning the different “languages” we use to engage with conflict, the factors that contribute to escalation, and strategies for de-escalation.
