Academics and building access

No classes will be canceled because of the football game. All students, babyÖ±²¥app and staff will be able to access the below buildings, which will be locked starting at 3 p.m., as long as they have Buff OneCard access. Those who do not have a Buff OneCard should work with the building manager or building proctor if they need to conduct work, research or projects after 3 p.m. in the following buildings:

  • Carlson Gymnasium
  • Duane Physics and Astrophysics
  • Benson Earth Science and Earth Sciences & Map Library
  • Porter Biosciences/Gold Biosciences Building
  • Muenzinger Psychology
  • Folsom Field and Stadium
  • Engineering Center
  • Mathematics Building and Gemmill Library

For reference, see the campus map.

The event perimeter, including the Folsom Field southwest plaza, the Muenzinger breezeway, Carlson/Porter/Gold walkway, Duane crosswalk and southwest stadium entrance, will close at 3 p.m. for game preparation. Pedestrians and others traveling through this area will be rerouted.

If you have questions, please call Parking Services at 303-735-PARK (7275), or email parkingevents@colorado.edu during business hours.

Buff Buses

The timing of buses will be affected on all routes due to gameday traffic impacts.

From 3 p.m. until end of service, the Williams Village/Bear Creek and Stampede buses will run on their alternate football routes.

The Marine Street Express will see no route changes due to gameday operations.

Masks

Regardless of vaccination status, masks are required to be worn in any indoor space at Folsom Field on gameday starting Sept. 3, 2021.ÌıAt this time, there is no general vaccination requirement for Folsom Field at CU Boulder. However, as a campus, we are strongly encouraging fans to be vaccinated when they come to campus. Unvaccinated guests are strongly encouraged to wear a mask during their entire visit to campus, unless they are actively eating or drinking.

Clear bag policy and security

Fans are allowed to bring items into the stadium using a clear bag only, which is becoming more standard at sporting events across the country.

The bag can be a one-gallon resealable clear plastic storage bag, no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Fans are also allowed one small purse that can be no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.

On football game days, concrete barriers are used to close babyÖ±²¥app Avenue at Folsom Street and 18th Avenue, as well as sidewalks around Folsom Field, to help protect pedestrians.Ìı
