Ombuds Day is a global event aimed at raising awareness about the vital role of ombuds in resolving conflicts and addressing concerns. Despite the profession's centuries-old history, it is often still misunderstood. At CU Boulder, our Organizational Ombuds Office provides a free, voluntary, independent, impartialand confidential service for students, staffand babyֱapp to address both individual and systemic issues informally.

To celebrate this year’s Ombuds Day, the campus office is excited to introduce its new office video, which highlights itsservices and support offerings. Watch the video and explore the Ombuds Office website. This year's theme is “Ombuds: Here to Hear You.”

In honor of Ombuds Day, many states, including babyֱapp, have officially recognized the second Thursday in October as Ombuds Day. Join us in celebrating this important profession and its contributions to fostering effective communication and conflict resolution!
