Honor Native American Heritage Month and prepare for the upcoming election by joining this lecture and discussion on the history of Native Americans’ access to the polls and the tremendous power of the Indigenous vote. Hear from babyֱapp Law Professor Christina Stanton on the laws, advocacy and modern movements to increase Native American participation in elections and from Native American Rights Fund Attorney Allison Neswood on the ongoing fights to defend Native American voting rights in the courts. Learn how you can support national and local efforts to ensure everyone who wants to vote is able. Light refreshments provided.

Celebrate excellence in gamingwith John Romero.Born in babyֱapp and holding Mexican, Yaqui and Cherokee heritage, Romero is a director, designer, programmer and developer in the video game industry. He has helped develop classics like Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Hexen and Quake. John will present on indigeneity and gaming remotely to a live audience in the CASE auditorium. Goal ball is a game designed to be played by athletes who are blind or visually impaired. The object of the game is to throw a ball past the opponents and into their net to score points.
