New vice chancellor for sustainability position, other sustainability initiatives announced

Chancellor Justin Schwartz has announced several actions to further establish CU Boulder as a global leader in sustainability. The university will partner with Pivot Energy to add 5 megawatts of solar energy to the local grid and is committing tax credit savings to campus decarbonization efforts.

Campus to welcome largest conference in 19 years

CU Boulder’s Conference Services is set to accommodate the National Order of the Arrow for six days starting July 29. The large-scale event will fill 6,000 campus beds, 500 local hotel rooms and 170 campus event spaces.
