This year, 15 CU Boulder civil and architectural engineering students spent more than 60 hours constructing a concrete canoe. A team of astrophysicists, including two researchers from CU Boulder, have caught a glimpse of a new and rocky planet called LP 791-18d. There, temperatures on the dayside could climb to more than 250 degrees Fahrenheit, while volcanoes blast the planet's surface.

Ahead of preservation efforts for Old Main, the CU Heritage Center, which is housed on the third floor of Old Main, will close on June 1 for the relocation of artifacts. The anticipated re-opening of the Heritage Center is slated for 2026, the university’s sesquicentennial year.
