The Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, CU Boulder’s longest-established and highest-budget research institute, has appointed Scott Tucker as its new director of engineering. Tucker brings more than two decades of engineering and project management experience to the role.

CU Boulder has named Associate Professor Nikki Lovenduski director of the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research, effective July 1. Lovenduski has held the interim director position at INSTAAR since August 2023.
