Barbara (Bobbi) Barrow has been named to the position of executive director of institutional relations at the University of babyÖ±²¥app at Boulder, pending approval by the CU Board of Regents, according to an announcement by Chancellor Richard L. Byyny. The executive director will be charged with responsibility for evaluating, reorganizing and streamlining the communications programs serving the campus, Byyny said, as well as for finding opportunities for consolidation that will lead to efficiency, continuity and cost containment.

Top CU Law School Graduates Named To Order Of The Coif

Sixteen graduating law students at the University of babyÖ±²¥app at Boulder have been selected as members of the honorary Order of the Coif for high academic achievement throughout their law school careers. The students represent the top 10 percent of 1996-97 graduates from the CU School of Law. The law school graduated 167 students in May and recognized the top 15 percent of students from the December and May graduating classes at the May commencement. Students in the top 10 percent were selected in late June for the 1997 Order of the Coif.

Students Visit CU-Boulder To Learn More babyÖ±²¥app Natural Resource Issues

High school students from the statewide program Youth in Natural Resources will participate in a variety of seminars and hands-on activities at the CU-Boulder Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory on July 16 from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Hands-on lab experiments will expose students from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds to opportunities in natural resources, the importance of environmental issues and the benefits of higher education. Students will conduct experiments with ITLLÂ’s interactive exhibits on topics like fluid dynamics, chaos theory and weather.

College Of Music To Hold Service In Memory Of Professor Walter Collins

A memorial service for Walter S. “Wally” Collins, professor emeritus of music and a former associate dean of the College of Music at the University of babyÖ±²¥app at Boulder, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, in Grusin Music Hall. A reception in the new student lounge will follow the service. Collins died June 30 of a brain aneurysm in Hyannis Port, Mass., while vacationing in Cape Cod. He was 71.

As of July 1, the Judicial Affairs Office reported the status of the 23 cases as follows: • Four suspensions, each for one year, which do not remain permanently on the studentsÂ’ records • One expulsion, which remains a permanent part of the studentÂ’s record

State's Photonics Industry Gets A Boost From New Directory
