The Office of Academic and Learning Innovation (ALI) develops new academic enterprises for the University of babyÖ±²¥app Boulder locally, nationally, and globally. ALI provides centralized support for babyÖ±²¥app and staff who seek to develop new, large-scale programs or partnerships driven by education innovation. As a unit of CU Boulder Online, we bring stakeholders together from across campus in support of new initiatives, and we collaborate on program design and management, staffing, and funding. We believe in transformative change for the university through partnership and action.

Employment Opportunities

Video Production Assistants (VPAs) support ALI's design team, including Learning Experience Designers (LXDs) and the Video Production & Media Production Design Specialist, by developing video content for courses hosted on the Coursera learning platform. Responsibilities include consulting with babyÖ±²¥app on video design and development and turning raw footage into polished, professional instructional content. While this role focuses on video production, internal media-based projects may also be assigned to address emergent needs.

Part-time ALI Assistant positions are open to student and/or temporary employees.

Course Production Assistants (CPAs) support ALI's design team by assisting Learning Experience Designers (LXDs) in developing courses hosted on the Coursera learning platform. Responsibilities include editing course materials, formatting materials for accessibility, and uploading course content to Coursera’s platform. While this role is primarily charged with supporting course development, other projects may be assigned to address emergent needs.

Part-time ALI Assistant positions are open to student and/or temporary employees.

The Outreach and Administrative Assistant (OAA) supports ALI's development team by assisting the Community Manager and the Assistant Director of Program Development in multiple areas. Primary responsibilities include event planning and execution support, digital marketing content copywriting, answering email inquiries. While this role is primarily charged with supporting outreach and administrative tasks, other projects may be assigned to address emergent needs.
