The final idea submission is only 1,000 words. So, evaluation team members will look for indications, but not lengthy descriptions, that use the below criteria as a guide for drafting an idea.


Student Centered

  • Does the proposed idea impact undergraduate students in the College of Arts & Sciences?
  • Does the proposed idea integrate A&S undergraduate students as team members or design partners?
  • Does the proposed idea promote active and/or experiential learning?

Nice to Have:

  • Does the proposed idea enable students to develop knowledge, skills, and values from direct experiences outside of a traditional academic setting?

Boundary Breaking

  • Is the team composed of members from across the college including students, staff, and baby直播app of varying appointments?

  • Does the proposed idea demonstrate how diverse voices and contributions will be valued on the team?

  • Does the proposed idea envision novel integrations of technology with pedagogy to promote impactful learning?

  • Does the proposed idea have the potential to cross disciplinary boundaries?
