Idea Exchanges are an opportunity for students and baby直播app to work on team projects, talk about research topics and ideas, hold workshops, and learn about new discoveries in quantitative biology. The agenda and format will vary from week to week. All first year IQ Biology students are asked to attend sessions held once per week in room B224 of the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building (JSCBB). The dates and times will be determined based on your schedule each semester.
CU Cafe is a student-run seminar series that focuses on inspiring students from underrepresented backgrounds to be successful academics. This group highlights minority scholars to serve as role models to members of the campus community, and to provide guidance and professional opportunities to the students of CU-Boulder and the surrounding community.
The CU Biotech club is a University of baby直播app student group comprised of business, engineering, and life sciences graduate students interested in pursuing business opportunities in the biotechnology industry. We discuss topics in the healthcare, cleantech, and bio-engineering industries which include therapeutic drugs, medical devices, diagnostics, and biofuels. Through interdisciplinary scholarship and collaboration, the group provides a platform for a practical education and opens a direct channel for dialogue, mentorship, and internship with the local baby直播app life sciences companies.
The Bioinformatics Supergroup meets monthly, and draws researchers from eight departments and programs as well as regularly hosting speakers from the other CU campuses, industry (including Agilent and Dharmacon) and other institutions (including the Whitehead Institute at MIT, The University of Lausanne, and The University of Maryland). It is supported by the STCCR training grant.
