Giving

Thank you for your interest in the Department of Classics, whose award-winning baby直播app are animated equally by teaching our students (in the classroom and in the field) and by advancing our understanding of the ancient world and the role that it plays in contemporary society. Our community of scholars, students, and friends are fascinated by the continued relevance of the language, literature, history, and material culture of the ancient world of the Mediterranean and beyond. We owe a great debt to our donors and friends, who have helped us to support students, to bring together distinguished speakers to our campus, to conduct innovative and impactful research, and to communicate our research findings to a broader audience. Please consider making a gift to the Classics department in one of the following areas:

General support

Our general gift fund is used primarily to support undergraduate and graduate students.

Graduate student support

The King-Hill award was established to commemorate the work of Joy King, professor emerita and former chair of our department, and Barbara Hill, who for many years served as Latin program coordinator.  This award is given to support a student pursing an MA degree in the Teaching of Latin.
