Liz Schmidt

Liz is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction CounselorÌıin the State of babyÖ±²¥app. She graduated with her Master’s degree inÌıForensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2007. She also holds aÌıBA in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of NorthernÌıbabyÖ±²¥app.

Prior to coming to CU, Liz worked within the criminal justice system providing individual therapy, group therapy, and assessments to clients whoÌıwere incarcerated and those who were under community supervision. LizÌıutilizes a variety of models in her therapy practice including Acceptance andÌıCommitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and MotivationalÌıInterviewing.
