Biography
Eric is a TS/SCI cleared engineering professional with over 17 years of experience leading multiple phases of space, missile, and centralized processes in a complex environment. He has experience in software and hardware projects with an extensive systems engineering background. Eric is a graduate of the Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) with strong analytical and communications skills and earned a ME in Engineering Management in 2008. He is currently a Program Manager at Ball Aerospace.

What made you decide to pursue a degree or certificate in Engineering Management?
I was accepted into a leadership development program at work that required me to pursue a master's degree.
Why did you choose the Engineering Management Program at CU Boulder?
I liked the option to do distance learning, with the option to visit campus when able. It was a good option for me while working full-time.
How did the program help you in your career?
The project management classes helped give me a foundation that led to future successes leading projects and ultimately helped me make the jump to program management.
What advice would you give a new student in the program?
Read all of the assigned reading (and more if you can) - the perspectives gained from the journals, articles, books that were hand selected by the experienced professors really helped mature me into a future leader.
How would you summarize your experience with the program?
While challenging to balance with a full-time job, I found the program to be interesting, helpful and ultimately an extremely positive experience in my personal and professional development.
