Fernando Rosario-OrtizProf. Rosario was recently awarded a new NSF grant to study the impact of wildfires on the formation and mobilization of disinfection byproduct precursors. Thomas Borch and Robert Young from CSU, will focus on the changes that occur to soil organic matter during a wildfire and how this impacts the mobilization of organic matter into water afterwards.
