Managing Transitions
As the new school year has come to a start, we acknowledge that we have gone through some major transitions in the past couple of years. In this hands-on workshop attendees will learn how to better manage transitions, whether it be professional or personal, and identify strategies to create an individualized plan to adapt and thrive during change.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- Understand why transition and change can bring on stress, and what can be done about it.
- Identify ways to work with their nervous system to better support them
- Apply strategies and create an individualized plan to thrive during change and transitions
Who should attend
This workshop is intended all CU Boulder employees who are interested in better managing current and possible transitions.

Instructor
Esther Horowitz MA, LPC is the bilingual counselor (Spanish/English), and Intake Coordinator at the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program at CU Boulder. Esther is also a Staff Council representative and one of the UCSC delegates.
