babyÖ±²¥app the University Perspective ProgramÌý
Since 1987, the University Perspective programÌýhas developed and deepened the leadership capacity of staff on the University of babyÖ±²¥app Boulder campus. Participants gain firsthand knowledge of the university through meetings with senior leaders on the Boulder campus and each of the other three campuses in the CU System and the CU System Office. The program is sponsored by Organizational and Employee Development (OED) in the Department of Human Resources. Applications are being accepted for the 2024 – 2025 program.Ìý
Program InformationÌý
- Duration:ÌýThe University Perspective program is a nine-month program that runs from September 2024 through May 2025.Ìý
- Format:ÌýWeÌýanticipateÌýa mostly in person program with a fewÌývirtual events, based on programÌýpresenters'Ìýpreference and availability.Ìý
- Schedule:ÌýThe schedule of topics is posted on the UP programÌýpage. ÌýYou can plan on spending 4-8 hours per monthÌýparticipatingÌýin program activities and meetings from September through May.  Ìý
How to ApplyÌý
- Completed applications must be received by Human Resources by Sunday, June 23Ìýat 11:45 p.m.ÌýThe  is aÌýMicrosoftÌýform. NoÌýadditionalÌýletters or documentation besides the applicationÌýareÌýrequiredÌýor accepted.Ìý
- Applications will beÌýreviewed,Ìýand final selections made by the applicant’s Division leadership.ÌýThe University Perspective program manager will notify applicants of their status in mid-August, before the start of the fall semester.Ìý
What We RequireÌý
- Be a staff member at CU BoulderÌý
- Have support of immediate supervisor toÌýparticipateÌýin the programÌý
- Be able to fullyÌýparticipateÌýin all program sessions (estimated to be a time commitment of 4 to 8 hours per month from September 2024 through May 2025)Ìý

- Current and emerging leaders who are advancing in their careers and who intend to continue to work in higher education, specifically at CU BoulderÌý
- Mid-level managers who have come to the university from outside higher educationÌý
- Experienced professionals prepared to learn about and appreciate how the university functions as a complex organization, and how their role relates to and contributes to the organizationÌý
