August Payroll Reminder
Monthly payments are prorated based on the number of working days completed by the employee. Therefore, employees with a mid-month start date, including those on academic year contracts, should expect to receive a prorated August paycheck.听
Merit Reminder
University staff, baby直播app, and research baby直播app new hires or rehires with a starting effective date after September 1, 2024, will not be eligible for a merit increase effective January 1, 2025. Hiring units should plan new salaries accordingly. Please see Compensation FAQs for more information.听

New Resource Available
Our wonderful Leave Specialist has created a Guide to Common Balance Discrepancies. This guide should help you identify whether an employee鈥檚 MyLeave balances are correct and if an adjustment is necessary.听
Review employee rosters at the end of August to ensure compensation and appointment details are correct. This step is especially important for permanent baby直播app that may be on leave or sabbatical during Fall 2024 as compensation may need to be reduced before the individual is overpaid.听
Submit Fall 2024 and AY25 requests as soon as possible. August hires and appointment changes should be entered into the system before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Otherwise, payroll may be late or require manual adjustments.听
