Research

IBG is one of the top facilities in the world for genetic research on behavior. Data collection and analysis are ongoing for several internationally renowned studies including the baby直播app Adoption Project, the baby直播app Twin Registry, the National Youth Survey Family Study, the baby直播app Learning Disabilities Research Center, and the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health. IBG is home to one of the nation's largest DNA repositories for research on human behavior, as well as housing a wide array of behaviorally and genetically defined lines of selected, recombinant inbred, transgenic, and knockout-gene mice.

Broad research impacts include findings on reading disabilities, aging, and complex traits.

Psychopathology, Aging and Evolution are approached from a variety of methodologies.

We work with the worm Caenorhabditis elegans as well as a variety of mouse strains.

Our research studies include groups of twins, adopted individuals and community members.
