Atmospheric chemistry • Stable isotope geochemistry

My research uses analytical chemistry and stable isotopic analysis (C, H, O, N, S) to understand the origins and chemical processes of atmospheric trace gases, as well as their roles in impacting global climate and regional air quality.

My research interests include

  • Using stable isotopes to better constrain processes in contemporary carbon cycle.
  • Understanding the isotopic effect during important atmospheric chemistry processes.
  • Exploring the interactions between the atmosphere, the biosphere, the hydrosphere, and humans.
