ÌýINSTAAR Student Assistant I or II

The Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research has several openings for student positions, typically 5-20 hours per week. INSTAAR babyÖ±²¥app and students conduct interdisciplinary research and education on the past, present, and future of Earth systems in service of a just and thriving future. Students will help with various research projects, or with administrative and building duties.

An INSTAAR Student Assistant may help with the following range of duties: assisting in conducting and analyzing research, data entry, creating/editing documents, photocopying/printing, creating web content, helping to keep lab areas clean, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Responsible and reliable
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive

Estimated number of hours/week:Ìý 5-20 hours during the academic year, up to 40 hours in the summer.

Location:Ìý INSTAAR is located at 4001 Discovery Drive, in the SEEC building on East Campus.
