A key focus of Dr. Depner鈥檚 ongoing studies is to develop biomarkers of sleep and circadian health to aid in the implementation of sleep and circadian based interventions that promote metabolic health.

Jacob Guzzetti

Jake

Jake was a member of the SCL first from 2014 to 2017, then again from 2018 to 2019 as a Professional Research Assistant. He is currently a Sr. Professional Research Assitant and Remote Research Assitant at the University of South Australia and hopes to pursue a PhD.

Dr. McHill was in the SCL from 2010 to 2014 and earned his Ph.D. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences at Oregon Health & Science University. His research focuses on uncovering mechanisms that lead to the adverse cardiometabolic health and safety outcomes observed in those working, eating, and being awake during the night. After leaving the lab, he did a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital with Chuck Czeisler and Beth Klerman.
