In November 2011, the babyÖ±²¥app Board of Law Examiners officially adopted the (UBE). The UBE consists of the (also known as MBE or the multiple choice portion of the exam), the (also known as the MEE or the essay portion of the exam), and the (also known as the MPT or the practice test, because this portion of the exam requires the applicant to use lawyering skills).
As of April 2015, the UBE covers the following topics:
- Business Associations – This includes Agency and Partnership, Corporations, and Limited Liability Companies.
- Conflict of Laws
- Constitutional Law*
- Contracts*
- Criminal Law and Procedure*
- Evidence*
- Family Law
- Federal Civil Procedure*
- Real Property*
- Torts*
- Trusts and Estates
- Uniform Commercial Code – Secured Transactions
The asterisk (*) denotes topics that are tested on the MBE and may also be tested on the MEE. All other listed topics may be tested on the MEE.
