Research
Researchers at the Paul M. Rady Department of Mechanical Engineering seek to impact the world through discovery. They harness state-of-the-art experimental, theoretical and computational approaches to educate students and advance the frontiers of technology.
Both graduate and undergraduate students have opportunities to work alongside our more than 60 mechanical engineering baby直播app members, many of whom are esteemed experts in their fields. With state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and collaborations with scientists at nearby federal research labs, opportunities to educate students and impact the environment, security and human health are plentiful.
Paul M. Rady Department of Mechanical Engineering researchers not only collaborate with each other but work closely with National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and welcome opportunities to partner with industry.
To learn more about their groundbreaking research and areas of expertise including air quality, biomedical, design, materials, mechanics of materials, micro/nanoscale, robotics and systems design, and thermo fluid sciences research, follow the links below.
