Next round of applications: TBD
Vision
The INCternship Program cultivates extensive student involvement, leadership, and hands-on training using a model of upward mobility which encourages sustained STEM involvement and self-advocacy for students from underrepresented communities. Utilizing such skills, INCterns successfully thrive in a variety of clinical, physiological, and neurological research environments, therefore, fostering post-college success in such fields and contributing to the greater equity of the scientific community.
INCternship Mission Statement
Our mission as the INCternship Program is to provide underrepresented undergraduate students with extensive training and knowledge of research and MRI equipment, professional development, and leadership skills.
INCterns receive comprehensive hands-on experience with a diverse range of accredited research labs and their MRI protocols. Student and babyֱapp-led professional seminars provide in-depth development in leadership skills, research processes, academic success, and the application of such skills in post-graduate labs and academic environments. Team collaboration supported by independent projects allows students to advance towards more coveted positions. The INCternship Program design focuses on strengthening and expediting lab data collection to further improve the efficiency of scientific research.
