CU Presents for the holidays: Scrooge and show tunes, English a cappella, seasonal sing-alongs and more

鈥淲hether you want to laugh, sing the 鈥楬allelujah鈥 chorus or experience a taste of an English Christmas, CU Presents is delighted to offer our community three very distinct artistic celebrations of the season,鈥 says Joan McLean Braun, executive director.
鈥鈥 Dec. 4-21, University Theatre
If Charles Dickens had huddled with Rodgers and Hammerstein and the creators of 鈥淪outh Park鈥 they just might have come up with this hilarious mashup. Simultaneously irreverent and respectful, the show is a charmingly recognizable retelling of the beloved holiday ghost story, complete with new lyrics to famous Broadway show tunes.

The Holiday Festival is a celebration of the season, featuring masterful renditions of beloved music by choirs, orchestras, soloists and baby直播app ensembles, sing-alongs of favorite carols and festive decor in Macky Auditorium. This annual tradition, which goes back more than 70 years, is the perfect opportunity to share the warmth and joy of the holidays with family and friends.
