Learning opportunities at the College of Music

The College of Music offers license renewal for music teachers during the summer session, for either non-degree student credits to be used toward a future graduate degree or for a certificate. Scholarship opportunities are available as well.

The College of Music is now offering a graduate certificate for current and non-degree seeking students interested in arts administration. The program is open to working professionals and any CU Boulder students already enrolled in a graduate degree in music, theater or dance.

The CU Youth Piano Program trains students through weekly group and private lessons. Instructors are experienced teachers from the College of Music, and the program is supervised by the CU Piano Pedagogy Chair, Dr. Alejandro Cremaschi. The lessons provide thorough instruction at the highest and most effective pedagogical standards while providing opportunities for fun, motivation and enjoyment of music.

The CU Boulder Middle School Ensembles (MSE) program is a collaborative experience designed for middle school music students, high school musicians considering a career in music teaching, and music education majors from the University of baby直播app Boulder.

Top wind band performers in baby直播app high schools are invited to take part in the annual CU Boulder Honor Band.

Bassists of all ages are invited to join us for a one-day workshop for classical and jazz bass, including training in the technical aspects of playing bass, sectional and ensemble practices and a chance to play together in a 鈥淢onster Bass鈥 ensemble.
