Marketing Manager Elise Zabala joined CU Presents in 2022. As part of the communications and marketing team, her responsibilities include working onÌıpromotional campaigns for the Artist Series, babyÖ±²¥app Shakespeare Festival, Takács Quartet seriesÌıand CU Performing Arts, which includes Eklund Opera, the Department of Theatre & Dance and more.
Zabala’s passion for the performing arts began in high school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied classical piano. Zabala earned a BA in music performance from Florida Gulf Coast University, a MM in international arts management from Southern Methodist University and HEC Montréal, and a digital marketing professional certificate from the American Marketing Association and Digital Marketing Institute. AfterÌıgraduation, ZabalaÌıserved on the administrative teams of Artis—Naples and Punta Gorda Symphony.
Beyond professional and academic accomplishments, Zabala has walked 600 miles on El Camino de Santiago in Spain, performed at Carnegie Hall’s renowned Stern Auditorium with the FGCU Wind Orchestra and appeared as guest speaker at the 2022 Travel Cat Virtual Summit.
