Writing Certificate
The Interdisciplinary Certificate in Writing requires a minimum of 18 hours, and more typically 19 hours, in the specified certificate curriculum (see below), with at least 9 of those hours at the upper-division. Certificate candidates may not apply more than two courses (6 credit hours) from their major. Students granted the certificate will have earned at least a 鈥淐鈥 in any Certificate course, and will have averaged at least a 鈥淏鈥 across all Certificate courses.
- At least 6 credit hours required
- PWR courses at the 2000 level and above
- Independent study WRTG courses sponsored by PWR baby直播app
- Courses within the PWR that fulfill the A&S upper-division written communication requirement
- 1000 level PWR courses are not eligible for the certificate
- At least 6 credit hours required
- Courses outside the PWR that fulfill the A&S upper-division written communication requirement
- Courses outside the PWR that treat theories and contexts pertaining to writing
- At least 1 credit hour required
- Required Portfolio Curation
- Options relevant to specific interests and career goals
- The Certificate in Writing will be noted on the student鈥檚 transcript.
