student talking to a counselor at lets talk

Let's Talk at the Wellness Suite

Every Friday between 10 and 11 a.m., CAPS therapists will be at the Wellness Suite for drop in Let's Talk sessions. Let’s Talk counselors can help provide insight, solutions and information about additional resources. No appointment is necessary.

Let's Talk is especially helpful for students who...

  • Aren’t sure about counseling or wonder what it’s like to talk with a counselor.
  • Aren’t interested in ongoing counseling but would like the perspective of a counselor.
  • Have a specific problem and would like someone with whom to briefly talk it through.
  • Have a concern about a friend or family member and would like ideas about what to do.
  • Are looking for resources or supports and are seeking help navigating where to turn.

No appointment is necessary. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. The best time to reach a counselor is at the start of the Let’s Talk time block. A typical session lasts 10-20 minutes.
