A few notes on gear:
- You may wonder why some items are on this for a summer trip. Weather in the baby直播app mountains is variable. In the early or late summer it is not out of the question to experience cold rain, hail or even light snow. In general, the early morning and evening temperatures are much cooler even in the Front Range. Items such as lightweight fleeces, down jackets, beanies and gloves may not always be needed, but are required for this trip to keep you safe an warm in the cooler evenings and in the event of inclement weather.
- Avoid cotton: when cotton gets wet it stays wet & cold for a long time. Synthetic materials dry faster and tend to keep you warmer when wet (this is beneficial after a long day of sweating or a rain shower). Slothing for this trip should be non-cotton. Look for fabrics that are polyester, polypropylene, silk or wool.
We know that gear can be expensive. There are many means of getting what you need without spending a lot of money. You can get great non-cotton clothing in the athletic sections of Target or Walmart or at Goodwill or other second-hand stores.
