Verify Your Enrollment or Degree

Print an Enrollment Verification

Has your insurance company or other provider requested verification of your CU Boulder enrollment? If so, follow the instructions below to access your official enrollment verification, provided free of charge through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) self-service site.

The NSC enrollment verification is official and doesn't require a university signature or seal. Print or download it yourself for hassle-free submission to your loan, insurance or other requesting company (including the military) as proof of your enrollment.

What's In It

As shown in this sample verification, your enrollment verification will include:

  • The name of the institution you're attending ("University of babyÖ±²¥app Boulder")
  • Your legal name
  • Your anticipated graduation date
    • Calculating this date: This date is based on federal guidelines that expect an undergraduate degree to take five years, and a graduate degree to take three.
  • Your enrollment details by semester, including the semester's start and end dates, and your enrollment status (e.g., full time, half time)
  • Accreditation information for CU Boulder

How to Get One

Request a Degree Verification

What It Is

A degree verification is not a diploma; it lists your degree on Office of the Registrar letterhead and bears the registrar's seal and signature.

How to Get One

Congratulations on your graduation! If you need proof of your degree before degrees post to transcripts (see the graduation calendar for specific dates), you may either:

  • Use  (you may be prompted to log in) to request an enrollment verification that includes your expected semester of graduation.
  • Contact your college or school to request a letter of completion.

After degrees post to transcripts, you may order an official transcript that includes your degree and conferral date.

If you need a degree verification rather than an official transcript:

ROTC Commissioning Verification

If you're enrolled in a Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program and it's your final semester at CU Boulder, please work with your ROTC department to have the necessary documents signed and completed for commissioning verification.

CU Boulder ROTC departments and officers are asked to follow ROTC Commissioning Verification Protocols.

Good Standing

Students are considered to be in good standing with the university if they are eligible to enroll or are enrolled in classes in a given term. This applies to participation to club sports and other student organizations, unless club or association rules specify different standards for eligibility.
