Register for Classes

Your Registration Periods

You can modify your class schedule during the following times:

  • Your assigned enrollment dates
  • The schedule adjustment period (fall registration only)
  • The open enrollment period

We recommend registering for classes as soon as your enrollment dates begin.

In a Registration Program?

Nondegree students, high school students, auditors, CU babyÖ±²¥app and staff using the tuition assistance benefit, and students taking classes through the Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) or intercampus enrollment follow different registration schedules.

Get Ready to Register

Once your enrollment dates post for an upcoming semester, you'll receive an email from the Office of the Registrar. The dates will also be available on Buff Portal's  (you may be prompted to log in).

After your enrollment dates end, registration remains open for current undergrad and grad students until the date specified on the registration calendar.

Once registration closes, you'll need to wait until the either the schedule adjustment period (fall registration only) or the open enrollment period to change your schedule.
