Instruments

​The BD Accuri C6 Cytometer with automated, multisampler is an easy toÌı
use cell analyzer that supports the use of any brand of tube, including microcentrifuge tubes, and 12 x 75 mm tubes made from polystyrene or polypropylene. Ìı

The 2 laser system consists of the following:
488 nm (FL1 533/30; FL2 585/40; FL3 670 LP)
640 nm (FL4 675/25)

The sampler allows for automation of 48- and 96-well plates and deep plates as well as a 24 tube rack for 12 x 75 mm tubes.

The intuitive software can be mastered in minutes and presentations can be made by a drag and drop of plots into Microsoft Office applications.

​The BDFACSCelesta Flow Cytometer multicolor analyzer allows detection of up to 14 parameters using 3 lasers (405 nm, 488 nm, and 561 nm). ÌıThe system has three preset flow rates of LO (12 uL/min), MED (35 uL/min) and HI (60 uL/min) and a data acquisition rate of 25,000 events/s with beads. It operates using BDFACSDiva software to streamline workflow for analysis and presentation applications.

​The Special BD FACSAria Fusionâ„¢ Cell Sorter within a Biological Safety Cabinet Ìıis built for superior multicolor sensitivity, safety and performance.

The instrument will detect up to 13 parameters, with the following optical emission filters for each of the 4 indicated lasers:

Automated Cell Deposition Unit (ACDU):

This multi-position sorting unit deposits cells onto
slides and into 6, 24, 48, 96, and 384-well plates.Single cell sorting is enhanced with the index sorting function that allows post-sorting review of precise cell
characteristics for each deposited event.

To achieve superior multicolor performance, the fluidics and optical systems are precisely integrated to maximize signal detection. Innovations include the laser excitation optics, the patented flow cell with gel-coupled cuvette, and the highly efficient patented octagon and trigon detection system. These systems work in unison to achieve unparallelled sensitivity and resolution.
