Students who work, do an internship or find other ways to get involved are on a path to gain experiences and skills in:

  • Connecting knowledge to application
  • Professionalism and leadership
  • Communication
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Teamwork
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Organizational productivity
  • Customer service
  • Technical learning such as graphic design, research and more

These areas of growth and development are also desired by future employers when they hire new graduates.
