Faculty assembly hears priorities from provost, passes resolutions

Wrapping up the semester, Provost Russell Moore outlined his 2023–24 priorities for the Boulder Faculty Assembly. Four resolutions were passed, including one supporting prioritizing climate change and sustainability actions and one supporting Israeli and Palestinian communities impacted by the war.

Under two newly approved policies and a new state provision, CU Boulder babyÖ±²¥app members who specialize in teaching will have new teaching professor titles. Additionally, a five-year contract is now the maximum multi-year appointment for specialized babyÖ±²¥app on the teaching and clinical tracks.

Preliminary enrollment estimate shows 1.8% growth in fall 2023

CU Boulder's preliminary student enrollment estimate for this fall shows an increase of 658 students over fall 2022, according to data presented at the CU Board of Regents meeting. The increase comes primarily from higher-than-anticipated enrollment of in-state undergraduates and improved retention rates.
