From the Police Chief: Why we are removing the campus ‘blue light’ phones

Dec. 14, 2015

A statement from University of babyÖ±²¥app Boulder Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano

Dec. 12, 2015

Earlier this morning, a CU undergraduate student was arrested as a suspect in the stabbing death of a fellow student following an earlier altercation off campus. Boulder Police are investigating the crime and I urge anyone with any information to assist them. On behalf of the entire CU-Boulder community, I want to express my condolences to the family and friends of the victim of this senseless act of violence. I also call on our entire campus community to reject violence – unilaterally – as a way of resolving disputes.

From the Dean of Students: Take care of yourself and look out for each other

Dec. 2, 2015

As the semester winds down and we look forward to Winter Commencement, it is a good time to reflect on what has been a wild semester here at CU-Boulder. From everyday stresses to global events arriving on our doorstep, we know that many people in our community have been impacted by crisis and trauma. Please take care of yourself in this push to the end of the semester and finals – get some sleep, eat well, exercise and drink plenty of water – and, if you need additional support, please contact one of our many campus resources to get the help you need.
