The Morris K. and Steward L. Udall Scholarship

The Udall Foundation seeks sophomores and juniors who are committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care. They look for future leaders across a wide spectrum of environmental fields, including policy, engineering, science, education, urban planning and renewal, business, health, justice, and baby直播apps.

  • Campus deadline:聽Early聽February each year
  • Final deadline:聽Mid-March each year聽
  • 罢别谤尘:听One or two years.
  • Amount of support:聽Each scholarship covers tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $5,000 for one year.
  • Number of Scholarships:聽80 scholarships are awarded each year.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be sophomores or juniors, pursuing a bachelor鈥檚 or associate鈥檚 degree;
  • Have a college grade-point average of at least a 鈥淏鈥 or the equivalent;
  • Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident;
  • Be committed to a career related to the environment, OR committed to a career in tribal public policy or Native American health care (only Native Americans and Alaska Natives are eligible to apply in tribal public policy or Native American health care).

Application Procedure

Candidates must be nominated by their institution to compete for the Udall Scholarship. There will be a competitive selection process on campus to determine CU鈥檚 candidates. Students will complete an online application and write a short essay. This application requires three letters of recommendation.
