The Ultimate Jump

Description: This mission is to design, build, and test a modified motorbike capable of a world-record jump. Over the year, this team will develop designs which address mission risks and requirements, test design prototypes using scale models and simulation, and plan manufacturing and assembly of the modified motorbike by industry consultants. All human testing shall be conducted by an outside company.

During the first semester, the team will consider mission risks, create requirements, develop design prototypes, and present detailed analyses of the designs. The deliverables for this semester will include a preliminary design review presentation, a mid-semester review presentation, a critical design review presentation, and a final project video.Ìý
